In Ro Ro Farm Co., ethos is valued the most. We are not interested in making money by cheating or taking advantage of people or an organization. It takes 20 years to build a reputation and 5 minutes to ruin it. We ask ourselves constantly, whether we are willing to have any contemplated act appear the next day on the front page of our local newspaper to be read by our spouses, children, and friends. We are influenced by Warren E. Buffett's mindset, lose reputation for the firm and we will be understanding, lose a shred of reputation and we will be ruthless.
Ro Ro Farm is very thankful for this country - the United States. It has provided the partnership with a sound environment to conduct business and be successful. No one does it alone, thus, we highly appreciate this country - the United States. The important thing is that Ro Ro Farm has always been and will be regarded as a national asset rather than a national liability.
We have to be a plus to this country - the United States - with our form of operation. We have and will continue to work to have a record by contributing positively to the labor market, productivity, planet, and society. We don't cut corners when it comes to paying taxes. We know many partnerships find loopholes, we are aware of it, and we don't use tax loopholes. For what this country has provided us, we believe that it is our moral obligation to pay our fair share of taxes. We believe taxes are one of the most important aspects of what makes a healthy economy.
Metaphorically speaking, Ro Ro Farm (Co.) is a 'farm,' where the General Managing Partner is the farmer - the caretaker - of the farm. Where the Limited Partners does not work on the 'farm.' The General Managing Partner - the caretaker - works for the partners.
Together, all the partners own the 'farm.' The partners are the true owners of the 'farm.'
The General Managing Partner only gets paid 25% of the profit after a +6% hurdle rate, on a yearly basis. There is no management fee.
Ro Ro Farm treats every penny like a seed that one day grows into a tree, which provides fruits and shades for the partner's family. Every penny is the beginning of the next billion. Did you know that a single gram of uranium-235 can produce as much energy as burning about three tons (3 million grams approximately) of coal? We treat every penny like it is a gram of uranium-235.
Ro Ro Farm focuses on the power of compounding using long-term value investing philosophy and research. Primarily, investing in financial assets that produce income.
Ro Ro Farm is an 'all-weather farm' producing fruits even during the winter - similar to winter indoor farming. A farm that is taken care of by a farmer who uses various techniques to work loyally and faithfully when the skies are clear. A farmer who tries to be prepared for any storm. Let's not confuse 'all-weather' with Ray Dalio or short selling. One, we only invest in income-producing assets. Two, we see short-selling as a high-risk, low-return speculation. Three, we don't speculate. Four, we only invest when the risks are low. The exceptions are risk-arbitrage or other special situations.
Essentially, the goal is to minimize risk and maximize returns in all market conditions.
